I trained initially at Moorfields Eye Hospital as an Orthoptist. I was awarded a Diploma in Orthoptics and became State Registered and a member of HPC.

1996 - In the 1990's my interests in Psychology took me in a different direction, and i studied part-time at the University of Wales in Swansea, to be awarded a Diploma in Counselling.

1997 - When working as a volunteer with the Victim Support Agency, I undertook special training in working with victims of rape and sexual crimes

1998 - Courses with Carolyn Ainscough and Claire Toon on working with survivors of sexual abuse

1998 - Certificate in Art and Person Centred Counselling

1998 - Course in Supervision at the Graduate School of Education in Bristol

1999 - Certificate in Gestalt Counselling at the University of Wales Swansea, Department for Adult Continuing Education

2000 - Open University, Level 2 module entitled "Information Technology and Society". The course was a combination of IT and Sociology.

2001 - I researched the theory of colour and Colour Therapy in particular, to see how colour might be incorporated into my work.

2001 - Advanced certificate with Counselling Online Ltd, where I became a tutor on the course. I also designed and built two websites we worked from

2002 - I trained as  Reflexologist and Level 2 Reiki practitioner

2004 - Open College of the Arts - Art of Photography

2005 - Open College of the Arts - Digital Photography 2.
